Remember this post? I was raving about how good the Mandarin Oriental Durian Pancakes were? Well, I just came back from lunch and I can officially bestow the honour of this durian pancake being just as good, if not better than the one in MO.
Where did I find this rare delicacy? La Lot Vietnamese Restaurant at Level 6, Pavilion. I swear, I was burping durians all day long (not a good thing to be subconcious of your breath when you're at the office) and as Jalina, my fellow durian lover said, "My breath was absolutely divine after lunch, I couldn't get the smell off". That was how good it was.
So, if you're craving for durians, here are a list of places where you can grab 'em:
1) Lai Po Heen (chinese restaurant) at Mandarin Oriental, KLCC.
2) Penang Village, available throughout Malaysia. Note that the one I went in GE Mall only serves durian pancakes 4pm and earlier.
3) La Lot at Pavilion, KL.
Anymore?

ReplyDeleteFarah, must be a common Vietnamese delicacy then. Will definitely try hunting for it at Sunway Pyramid, thanks!
